Amber O’Reilly is a French-Canadian and multilingual poet, spoken word and theatre artist from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She has performed at Northwords NWT, Speaking Crow, Winnipeg Poetry Slam, Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Thin Air Winnipeg International Writers Festival and the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. Her poetry and critical writing have been published in the Winnipeg Free Press, L’Aquilon and Oratorealis. Amber is a cultural contributor to ICI Radio-Canada Manitoba’s Le 6 à 9, hosts Alliance française du Manitoba’s Open Mic Series Project Spoken Word, reviews Théâtre Cercle Molière’s play for La Liberté and serves as a board member of the Association des auteur-e-s du Manitoba français and Thin Air Winnipeg International Writers Festival. She took part in Creative Manitoba’s 2017-18 Careers in the Arts Program as a mentee under Lori Cayer (Stealing Mercury, Attenuations of Force, Dopamine Blunder, Mrs. Romanov).
