A writer, director, translator, and actor whose work has been seen and heard across the country and around the globe, Guillermo is the author or co-author of, among other works, bloom, Fronteras Americanas, The Noam Chomsky Lectures (with Daniel Brooks), A Line In The Sand, (with Marcus Youssef), and the Ali and Ali plays with Marcus Youseff and Camyar Chai. He is a recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Drama, a four-time winner of the Chalmers Canadian Play Award, as well as a recipient of Dora, Jessie, and sundry film festival awards. His critically-acclaimed collection of short fiction, Citizen Su├írez, is published by Talonbooks. He lives in Toronto with his partner, Tamsin Kelsey.
