Terri Favro is a novelist, storyteller and non-fiction writer whose obsessions include alternative realities, weird machines, steampunk, the atomic bomb, bicycles, comic books, winemaking, and Italian-Canadian immigrant experiences. Her books include Generation Robot: A Century of Science Fiction, Fact and Speculation (Skyhorse 2018); Once Upon A Time in West Toronto (Inanna, 2017); Sputnik’s Children (ECW, 2017), which was a Globe 100, Quill & Quire and CBC Books recommend novel for 2017; and The Proxy Bride (Quattro, 2012), winner of the Ken Klonsky-Quattro Books Novella Award. Terri is also co-creator of the Bella graphic novel series (Grey Borders Books). A CBC Literary Prize finalist in creative non-fiction, Terri’s essays and short fiction have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies including the Humber Literary Review, Geist, Prism, and Clockwork Canada: Steampunk Fiction.
